My career began in Las Vegas at an event location that was built from the ground-up to accommodate corporate and social events. I assisted the owner in designing the space to allow for various size groups from intimate dinners of (25) to large scale cocktail receptions for 2,000 guests. Years of experience and classic trial and error in a variety of venues from hotels, private homes and museums assisted in developing a truly unique and one of a kind location. Abundant Power distribution, moveable steel walls along with a variety of in-house designed and fabricated décor allowed for various themes. It was during this introduction to the industry that I learned to work with clients on variety of aspects of their event. Theme selection, food & beverage service, entertainment, rentals, etc.
Upon leaving Las Vegas I accepted a position with a catering company based in Los Angeles. It was during this time that I honed my skills in food and beverage service. The opportunity was provided to travel with a variety of client’s thru-out the country working with them on their events. During this time I have amassed a data base of locations and venues nationwide that are specifically suited for events. It was also by working with these locations that I acquired knowledge of how each locations rule and guidelines are different and how to work within these parameters to create a unique event that accentuates the ambience of the location, yet keeps it individual to the group.
